Puppy Training Programs

10-week-old Toddler Puppy Training (includes puppy cost) $6,900 plus $250 for food/treats/chews/supplements

When you bring your puppy home at 10 weeks, they will already have a strong foundation in essential skills—using the science of operant conditioning to introduce behaviors and create a thinking dog who can problem-solve.

Your puppy will be continued with and introduced to: 

Potty training: Your puppy will have begun learning where and when to go.

Crate training: Your puppy will become familiar with the crate as a safe, comfortable space.

Habituation: Your puppy will be set on a structured routine that will progress as they develop.

Socialization and Environmental exposure: Your puppy will be introduced to a variety of environments, people, and experiences to help them become well-rounded.

Grooming: Yourcommunication puppy will be accustomed to nail trims with clippers and a nail grinder, baths, a blow dryer, ear cleaning, teeth cleaning, and brushing, making grooming a positive experience.

Proprioception: Early exercises to enhance their awareness of body position and movement.

Clicker Charged: Your puppy will be introduced to clicker training, setting the stage for effective communicatio n.

We also introduce your puppy to the following:

Box work

Treat & Train with target touch and klack/ klack

Tactile positions - sit, down, stand

Teach the puppy their name

Look for Auto-Focus (watch you, without words)

By starting their training early, you'll help your puppy be well-prepared to thrive in their new home!

When you pick up your puppy at our North Central Florida location, they will come home with everything you need to get started on the right paw:

  • Health Certificate: Ensuring your puppy is healthy and ready to join your family.
  • First Distemper/Parvo Vaccine: Protecting them against common puppyhood diseases.
  • Microchip: Your puppy will be continued with and introduced to: 
  • Potty training: Your puppy will have begun learning where and when to go.

12-week-old FoundationBuilding Blocks (includes puppy cost) $8500, plus $500 for food, treats, chews, and supplements.

Your Puppy’s Journey with our Foundation Building Blocks Training at Heart and Soul Dog Breeding Inc. is provided for you through our partnership with Always on Cue Dog Training, LLC.  We focus on developing a thinking dog who can problem-solve by using the science of operant conditioning to introduce behaviors. Developing a dog that learns quickly and adapts to new environments. After your puppy heads home at 12 weeks old, we continue laying the foundation for success with the following behaviors, with additional training sessions available with you by video call:

  • Habituation: Your puppy will be set on a structured routine that will progress as they develop.

  • Lure & Reward Training: We introduce a positive reinforcement method to guide behavior and encourage learning. This helps your puppy understand what’s expected of them.

  • Puppy’s Name: Reinforcing recognition and response to their name is crucial for focus and attention.
  • Auto-Focus on Handler: We teach your puppy to naturally focus on you, improving their attention and responsiveness in various situations.
  • Touch: Teaching your puppy to touch your hand is a versatile skill used in many service dog tasks and training exercises.
  • Sit: One of the most important basic commands. We introduce this early for impulse control and structure.
  • Down: A calming position that helps teach your puppy control and relaxation.
  • Come: Building recall is vital for saf ety and good manners. This command is especially important in public and open areas.
  • Play: By using play and structured exercises, we create a mentally and physically engaged puppy who’s eager to learn. This prepares them for more advanced training as they grow!
  • Flirt Pole: This is an excellent way to encourage your puppy’s prey drive, agility, and focus. It’s also a great bonding ac, fortivity!  
  • Retrieve: Teaching a retrieve game helps stimulate problem-solving and coordination and gives your puppy an outlet for energy.
  • Physical: A range of physical games that help develop coordination, strength, and confidence.
  • Leash Training: Ensures that your puppy walks calmly on a leash, without pulling, making them easier to control in public spaces.
  • Load Into Vehicle: Whether it's getting in and out of a car, van, or another vehicle, your puppy will be trained to do so calmly and efficiently.
  • Stay: The “stay” command is crucial for teaching your puppy to remain in place when needed. It’s a vital safety skill if your puppy or dog may need to stay still before crossing thresholds, and it prevents darting into the street or knocking people over.
  • Place: The “place” command teaches your dog to go to and stay on a designated spot (e.g., a bed, mat, or other location). This is useful when you need your dog to be calm and stay out of the way in certain situations.
  • AKC Star Puppy and Virtual Home Manners Puppy (VHMA): These certifications ensure your puppy can follow basic home manners and is ready to transition into more advanced training, establishing them as a good house pet.

  • Microchip: For added security and peace of mind, should your puppy ever get lost, we will stay on the registration in case you or your family members cannot be reached, preventing your puppy from entering a rescue organization or animal control facility.
  • AKC Registration (Limited): Recognizing your puppy's pedigree while maintaining the integrity of our program.

What Equipment is Included in Your Puppy’s Foundation Building Blocks Training Program:

We provide you with essential tools to continue training at home, ensuring consistency with the techniques taught during the program. Your puppy will go home with these tools to keep: a seat belt, Collar, Leash, Place Cot, Clicker, and Treat Bag.

6 Additional Puppy One-Hour FaceTime Training Sessions: Your puppy will continue to learn and refine important skills with the guidance of our experienced trainer as your puppy continues to develop. For the first six months.

Go-Home Day: We highly recommend bringing a friend or all family members to assist you with going home and to learn how to continue your puppy’s progress in training at home. Expect to stay for a couple of hours to participate in hands-on training and learn how to apply the techniques and skills we’ve taught. It’s a great opportunity to bond with your new pup and ensure a smooth transition into your home. Our goal is to ensure your puppy’s success, and this comprehensive package provides all the tools you need to build a strong foundation for the future.

Our Facilities

All our dog parents and puppies  live and are raised in Indoor spaces within our home and have  sanitary, spacious outdoor yards designed to separate males and females when needed and have safe puppy areas for young puppies. The yards are equiped with agilty and propioception equipment for training and structured play.  We take pride in our state-of-the-art facilities, which are designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our puppies. Our facilities include outdoor play areas, climate-controlled in door s,paces, and separate areas for our breeding dogs. We are inspected yearly by our local county and we are a registered breeding facility.
